"Thank you so much for all you effort and hard work on our wedding day. We are so pleased with our photos, you've done an amazing job! Love Lisa & Greg #wealgionis "
In one of the greatest love stories I've heard for a while, Heather & Matt, decided to have a small and intimate wedding in a place which held many memories for them. The Italian town of Portmeirion in North Wales was a stunning backdrop - even in the rain!
Accompanied by 11 friends and a toddler, the Mirror Room at The Portmeirion Hotel was a very romantic setting for the ceremony.
Heather's friend Ruth, gave her away, and Matt beamed as Heather walked towards him.
The celebrations continued into the wee hours at Snowdon House,
where the wedding party were staying, in Snowdonia.
"What a wonderful photographer, we knew from our engagement shoot that Rosanna was the perfect fit for us - informal but still capturing the key moments and 'us', as well as being so helpful and friendly. My husband really does hate having his photo taken but every shot on the day is perfect and we are smiling, laughing, or crying (in a good way!) in every shot. Rosanna managed to capture all the emotions of the day. We really can't recommend her enough, just wish we could do it all over again...!"
"Thank you so much for taking such great photos - we didn't really know what to expect but it's fab to have photos where we both have our eyes open and look like ourselves! Feeling much more relaxed for our wedding day now. We shared our photos with a few family and friends - we've had so many compliments! Thank you again for doing such a super job - they really are great and we are so pleased with them." Anna & John
Anna and John are saying 'I do' in September. On a beautiful summers day in July we met at the quintessentially English Wansted Park in East London, to put the couple at ease in front of the camera before the big day.
Both were nervous before we started, being camera shy and not sure of what to expect. They'd bought along a picnic blanket, cake (tasted really good!) and the Sunday paper crossword, as they often head to the park on a Sunday to relax and beat last week's score together.
After a few test shots, with little old me showing them what tends to look good in camera, and after trying a few poses they soon loosened up. Props or activities you enjoy are fun to try out and engage with to for engagement shoots, taking the focus off what your face or body is doing!
Engagement shoots are also a fun few hours for me to get to know you both, so you feel more comfortable with a few different sized lenses snapping you at every opportunity on your wedding day.
As I usually find, Anna & John were soon suggesting ideas for where we could shoot; their natural smiles then shining through in their engagement photos.
If you'd like any more information on booking an engagement shoot or would like to learn more about what is involved, give me call on 07825046022 or drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Sarah & Todd were a stunning couple to have the pleasure of photographing. They celebrated in the setting of Hendall Manor Farm, a unique venue for a Kent wedding photographer, with beautiful gardens surrounded by rolling countryside. The joy on their faces after the ceremony says it all.
As part of my services, and because I'm a creative soppy one at heart, I would ask you to take a little time away from your guests during the reception, or whenever is convenient for you, to shoot some couple shots. 30 minutes or so will give you the 'money shots' - the ones you will have in your home forever. Once you've said your vows, this is the first opportunity for you to spend a little time together as the new Mr & Mrs. You can often see the emotion coming through in these photographs meaning this is a truly special part of your day.
"I can't stop looking through our photos, every time I notice something new. I've even caught Matt laughing quietly at a few as he looks through them again. It's so nice to have a record of us at this time in our lives." Heather
Back in June I spent the afternoon with the lovely Matt & Heather climbing trees and blowing bubbles whilst exploring Wimbledon Common. Their cute photos illustrate their fun and adventurous personalities perfectly. Oh and watch out when Matt's around, hold on to your ice cream!
Couple or engagment shoots are available as part of my wedding photography packages in locations near London or Kent, or can be booked separately. Allow a few hours, choose a location that means something to you both and we'll meet up and have some fun. I try not to create too many poses - generally after a few minutes you will soon feel more comfortable and the natural smiles and moments come easily.
If you are booking a wedding package, an enagement shoot is a good way for me to get to know you both before the big day. Many people aren't used to being in front of a camera so as well as getting some great casual photos together, it will help to ease the nerves on your wedding day.
"We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you Rosanna!
The photos look so amazing and we are really happy with them. Your hard work on the day itself, and all your work afterwards, is greatly appreciated!
Thank you again :)
Love from Mr & Mrs Davey! x"
Amy & Matthew's wedding day was a magical experience, something a little different and very personal to them. A beautiful fun-filled garden party followed the outdoor ceremony, which was full of happiness, laughter and love.
Crystals hung in the trees, guests were provided with blankets against the English Summer chill, and each table received a picnic hamper full of goodies before tucking into the hog roast. Rustic yet classy, the theme of the day was very much about family. Matthew's sister Kat, thought of every small detail in planning the wedding for them to make the occasion truly special, whilst Amy's Dad looked so proud walking her down the aisle.
I try to capture the whole of your wedding so that every time you look through your photos in the future, you are taken back to the happiness and joy of your wedding day. For me, this includes not only the group photos and couple shots for a framed picture, but also capturing the little details such as the wedding favours, the bride's shoes or the seating plan. No doubt you've spent a lot of time, energy, and money on your wedding day so I love to show the emotion of the day as well as the little 'wow moments' which are personal to you through some creative photography.
At 10 days old, we had a fun filled few hours with the very cute Emmy, in new parents Laura & James' home. Capturing not only the three of them together, but all those little touches Laura & James had put together to welcome their baby girl home.
If you would like some photographs to help you remember your family during those special moments such as the arrival of a newborn, birthday celebrations or just trying to get some photos with all of you together without Mum or Dad being behind the camera then I'm your lady!
I try to use natural light as much as possible for a soft look which is more flattering for all. I find most homes provide numerous settings for a fab photo, with a little bit of thought. If you have some ideas in mind, by all means show me some photos you like, or something you would like to try. They are your photos and I am dedicated to achieving the best possible results for you.
"This is the best thing ever!!! You're amazing at capturing exactly what I wanted without me having to say. You've made my day. It was so much fun and I think I need to hire you as a nanny as well as photographer, you're a natural on both counts. You're so subtle with a camera, it belongs with you and certainly makes for a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for being so lovely. Big cheesy smiles from Jenna & Jack" Jenna
As Jack celebrated his 1st birthday a few days before this shoot, Jenna wanted some informal photos to capture his adorable face at this milestone birthday.
Jack is undoubtedly one of the cutest toddlers I've had the pleasure of working with and although he's a little monkey, we got a few smiles out of him.
Set at The Orangery, Turkey Mill in Maidstone, the sun shone for what feels like the last time this summer at Becky & Ryan's wedding. During the ceremony we all looked out on to the river & gardens and whilst the happy couple said 'I do'.
I offer wedding photography in Kent & London with several packages from covering just the ceremony and group photos, to capturing the whole day - from bridal preparations to first dance.
Every couple is unique so my services reflect this. If you would like to book your day with me, firstly we will meet up to have a chat and discuss your requirements. I like to think I'm a happy-go-lucky kinda girl and get on with most people, but not everyone is a natural fit and I want to make sure you feel comfortable on your big day. I will be up close and personal with you both from start to finish so let's try and have some fun along the way!
If you'd like to book me, then I'll ask you to fill out my booking form, (detailing venues, schedule, group photo requests etc.) and request a deposit payment to secure my services for your date. After that we can arrange an engagement shoot or if not, I'll see you on the day. :)
Afterwards, I'll send you a few sneak peeks hopefully before you head off on honeymoon. I ask you to be understanding in waiting for your pictures, in busy periods I can be covering numerous weddings as well as a few photo shoots each week and editing the photos is as important as taking them. This takes time to ensure you love every photo I send you, and that they all come together to tell the tale of your big love story.
At the moment, I don't offer wedding albums. I'm an honest woman and feel that many photographers can take advantage when it comes to allowing you access to your photos once they have been taken. With my services, you will get approx 300+ photos for a full wedding package, given to you in high and low resolution.
Once you have them, they are yours to do what you want with - send them on to Granny and Aunty, print them on a canvas for your home or post them on Facebook. I reserve the right to use all photos taken for my promotional material but I don't slap on charges for access to your own photographs.
If you really love my style and my photos, but would also love an album, this is of course something we can discuss.
